As I pondered what on earth to write about today, I decided to glance through my old blogs to see what stone I had left unturned about me and my psychic world. There is a large doozy of a stone left unturned, and that is why I do what I do. What would make one want to ditch her hard-earned master’s degree and the career she was so excited about to do this instead? I have three answers: 1. Government policies 2. insurance companies. Number three shall show herself a little later in our blog. Continue reading “Why I Am a Psychic Medium, Etc.”

Surprise, Surprise! It Ain’t Like the Movies!!!
As I pondered what to write about today, I thought back to the fears I initially had about developing my intuition.
There are many things about intuitive/psychic abilities that scare the outright shit clear outta people. The lovely Hollywood movie, The Sixth Sense, was high on my list after I white knuckled it through that flick. I eagerly departed the theatre, deciding that nope, this psychic stuff wasn’t for me–oh hell no!
If you haven’t had the joy of watching this movie, allow me to provide you with the quick and dirty on it. Boy is psychic. Boy sees dead people all over the place. Not your contented, lounging-in-a-coffin kind of dead person, but gory, gross, people who have hanged themselves with blood and entrails spewing…..ewww. Only a complete nutter would want to see that all the time, right? Continue reading “Surprise, Surprise! It Ain’t Like the Movies!!!”
My First Contact with the “Dead”
For many moons, I thought it would be just the best to be able to talk with the spirit world. Why? The biggest reason is that I miss my family and friends (both those who used to be both human and animal) so, so terribly. Like everyone else, I have some relatives who are, to be nice, unsavory individuals. For the most part, my family has been lovely. My dad and grandparents were particularly lovely humans, and never a day goes by where my heart doesn’t hurt because they are out of their body. I thought being able to still at least have a conversation with them would ease the pain. I also dug the idea of being able to help clients with their grief issues. How to Spot a Scamming Psychic, Part 2
Unfortunately, I felt compelled to pen a Part 2 on this topic. I want consumers to be well-educated on choosing a quality energy reader.
So here is what popped into my head since last week: the psychic should be able to provide extremely detailed information about you and your life. If they are continually stumbling along and acting like everything is hunky dory when they ain’t getting shit or shinola right, then ask them if they can read you. Qualities You Had Best Possess If You Have a Hankering to be a Professional Psychic
There are some really, um, questionable, psychics out there. I have been to one myself–he was so totally full of it! Dude was quite knowledgable about astrology, and every observation out of his cake hole was just typical for my sign, a Leo. He also muttered some gibberish about a spirit under a tree in the backyard and some chick putzing about the crib….all highly general and truly of no use. The other I have fortunately never met. This one really makes my blood boil.
Psychic was reading for guests at a PARTY!!–A PARTY!!!–A JOYFUL, KICK-UP-THY-HEELS SOIREE– and actually told one lady that her daughter would die soon. W!T!F! How rude and insensitive. That is a bit of info I never tell anyone, let alone when someone is unwinding and letting her hair down.
Perhaps John Needs Some Midol
I had the distinct pleasure of observing famed psychic medium John Edward do his thing in front of a live audience on March 8th. I love John. I have devoured all his books except his one fiction piece….ol’ boy knows his stuff and can also easily teach it to others. So I was curious to see what he would be like in person.
He was just what I expected, with one exception. He really got on the rag with some audience members who didn’t readily agree with the information he received….thus the title of this blog. Midol maybe, John? Or perhaps I would get a bit feisty too if I had done this type of work for 30 years and dealt with all the heckling that invariably arrives with it.
